(SİC) Ve soy metal ile kaplanmıştır. Hidrokarbonlar (HC) ve Karbon Monoksit (CO) bu parça sayesinde araçtan dışarıya kimyası bozularak çıkar. Muayene istasyonlarındaki egzoz emisyon doğrudan bu parça ile alakalı bir durumdur.
